Spencer Wells, The Genetic Revolution
Spencer Wells is a geneticist, anthropologist, author, and entrepreneur. For over a decade he was an Explorer-in-Residence at the National Geographic Society and director of the Geographic Project. He has appeared in documentary films and is the author of three books and discussed arguably the most important scientific development in modern times, “The Genetics Revolution” – a subject not previously covered in Forum talks. Mr. Wells now lives in Austin, Texas, where he is the founder and CEO of a consumer genomics company, an adjunct professor at the University of Texas and owner of the iconic blues club, Antone’s.
